Terms and Conditions
Roadmaster Truck Driving School | Last updated: 10 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, training sessions, assessments, courses, website use and related services provided by Roadmaster Truck Driving School. By booking or participating in our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Roadmaster Truck Driving School
Roadmaster Truck Driving School provides professional heavy vehicle driver training, practical driving instruction, licence preparation and related support services in Western Australia.
Where nationally recognised training, competency assessment or certification is required, relevant services may be provided in partnership with Deltawest Training, RTO 40599.
Roadmaster Truck Driving School is not represented as the Registered Training Organisation unless expressly stated in writing. Certificates and statements of attainment, where applicable, are issued by the authorised Registered Training Organisation subject to successful completion of all requirements.
2. Eligibility and Entry Requirements
Students are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable eligibility, licence, identification, medical and regulatory requirements before booking or attending training.
- Students must hold the appropriate current driver’s licence or learner authority required for the selected course.
- Students must provide valid identification and any documents requested before training or assessment.
- Students must inform us of any medical condition, injury, medication or limitation that may affect their ability to drive or participate safely.
- Students must meet any prerequisite licence-holding period or experience requirements that apply to their selected licence class.
Failure to meet the required eligibility conditions may result in the booking being postponed or cancelled. Applicable cancellation or third-party charges may still apply.
3. Course Information
Course descriptions, training durations and recommended lesson numbers are provided as general guidance. The actual training required will depend on the student’s existing driving experience, competency, learning ability, licence class and progress.
Roadmaster Truck Driving School may recommend additional training where an instructor considers that a student is not ready to undertake an assessment safely or competently.
4. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until Roadmaster Truck Driving School has accepted the booking and any required deposit or payment has been received.
- Students must provide accurate contact, licence and booking information.
- Booking dates and times remain subject to instructor, vehicle, assessor and RTO availability.
- Students should review their booking confirmation and immediately report any incorrect information.
- Special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed by us in writing.
5. Fees and Payment
All fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of booking. Prices may vary depending on the licence class, gearbox type, course package, vehicle, assessment requirements and third-party charges.
- Deposits may be required to secure training or assessment dates.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, outstanding fees must be paid before training or assessment begins.
- Additional lessons, reassessments, vehicle hire, licence fees or third-party charges are not included unless specifically stated.
- Roadmaster Truck Driving School may suspend future training or withhold booking confirmation where an account remains unpaid.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling by Students
Students must contact Roadmaster Truck Driving School as soon as possible when they need to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a standard training session without a Roadmaster rescheduling fee.
- Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours before the scheduled starting time may result in up to 50% of the booking fee being retained or charged.
- Same-day cancellations and failure to attend may result in the full booking fee being retained or charged.
- Non-refundable third-party, assessment or RTO charges already incurred on the student’s behalf may be deducted from any refund.
Any cancellation fee will be limited to an amount reasonably related to the loss, cost or expense caused by the cancellation. Nothing in this section limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Cancellations by Roadmaster
Roadmaster Truck Driving School may cancel, postpone or reschedule a booking because of vehicle breakdown, instructor illness, assessor availability, unsafe weather, road conditions, operational issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where we cancel a service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the student will be offered a rescheduled booking, credit or refund for the affected service, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
Roadmaster Truck Driving School is not responsible for indirect costs such as lost income, accommodation or travel expenses unless liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Late Arrival
Students should arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled training or assessment time.
A late arrival may reduce the available training time. Where a student arrives too late for the session or assessment to be completed safely, legally or within the allocated time, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or missed appointment.
9. Fitness to Drive and Safety
Students must attend training fit to drive and capable of participating safely. A student must not attend while affected by alcohol, illegal drugs, fatigue, illness or medication that may impair driving ability.
Students must follow all lawful and reasonable instructions given by instructors, assessors, staff and authorised RTO representatives.
Roadmaster Truck Driving School may immediately suspend or end a session where a student’s behaviour, physical condition or driving creates a safety risk. Fees may not be refundable where the session is ended because of the student’s unsafe, unlawful, abusive or seriously inappropriate conduct.
10. Student Conduct
Students must behave respectfully towards instructors, assessors, staff, other students and members of the public.
Threatening behaviour, harassment, discrimination, deliberate vehicle misuse, unsafe driving, dishonesty, cheating or failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the course or cancellation of future bookings.
11. Training and Assessment Outcomes
Participation in training does not guarantee that a student will pass an assessment, be found competent or receive a heavy vehicle licence. Results depend on the student demonstrating the required knowledge, driving skills, safety standards and competency requirements.
Instructors may provide recommendations and preparation support, but final assessment, competency and licensing decisions are made by the relevant authorised assessor, RTO or licensing authority.
Students who are unsuccessful may be required to complete additional training and pay applicable reassessment, vehicle hire or third-party fees.
12. Vehicles and Equipment
Students must use vehicles and equipment responsibly and only as directed by an authorised instructor or assessor.
Normal training mistakes made while following instructor directions will not automatically make a student responsible for vehicle damage. However, a student may be held responsible for loss or damage caused by deliberate misconduct, illegal activity, unauthorised use or reckless failure to follow clear safety instructions, to the extent permitted by law.
13. RTO and Third-Party Services
Some training, assessment or certification services may involve Deltawest Training, RTO 40599, government authorities, authorised assessors or other third-party providers.
Students may be required to comply with separate enrolment conditions, assessment policies, evidence requirements, privacy notices and complaint procedures issued by the relevant RTO or third party.
Roadmaster Truck Driving School is not responsible for decisions made independently by an RTO, assessor or government licensing authority. However, we will provide reasonable assistance where an issue relates to services arranged through us.
14. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Refund requests will be considered according to these Terms and Conditions, the circumstances of the booking and applicable Australian law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a service does not meet a consumer guarantee, the student may be entitled to an appropriate remedy depending on the nature and severity of the problem.
15. Personal Information and Privacy
Roadmaster Truck Driving School may collect personal information required to process bookings, communicate with students, verify eligibility, provide training, arrange assessments, maintain records and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
Where necessary, relevant information may be shared with Deltawest Training, RTO 40599, authorised assessors, government authorities, payment providers or service providers involved in delivering the requested service.
Personal information will be handled using reasonable security measures and in accordance with applicable privacy obligations.
16. Website Information
Information published on the Roadmaster Truck Driving School website is provided for general information. We take reasonable care to keep information accurate, but course details, fees, availability, licensing requirements and regulatory information may change.

17. Intellectual Property
Website content, course materials, branding, graphics, photographs, videos and written resources owned by Roadmaster Truck Driving School must not be copied, reproduced, modified, republished or commercially used without prior written permission.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roadmaster Truck Driving School is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
19. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Students should raise concerns with Roadmaster Truck Driving School as soon as possible so that we have a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve the issue.
Complaints should include the student’s name, contact information, booking details, a clear description of the issue and the preferred resolution.
Complaints relating specifically to nationally recognised training, assessment or certification may also be handled under the complaints and appeals procedure of Deltawest Training, RTO 40599.
20. Changes to These Terms
Roadmaster Truck Driving School may update these Terms and Conditions when services, operational requirements or applicable laws change. The latest version will be published on our website.
The Terms and Conditions applying to a confirmed booking will generally be those provided or available at the time the booking was made, unless a change is required by law or agreed with the student.
21. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals authorised to hear the matter.
